Expected Export of Sudanese Meat to Malaysia

The Federal Minister of Animal Resources , Hafez Ibrahim Abdelnabi, stressed the importance of animal resources as renewable and important economic resource, during his meeting today with the Ambassador of the State of Malaysia, Muhammad Razdan Jamil.
He called for opening horizons of cooperation and joint coordination between Sudan and Malaysia and benefiting from them in investment, especially in the field of importing meat from Sudan, which contributes to increasing the added value and supporting the national economy.
He called for establishing economic relations that open wide and distinguished prospects with the state of Malaysia that serves the two peoples

He indicated that a delegation of Malaysian employers and companies will visit Sudan in the coming period, stressing his ministry’s readiness to meet all requests for Sudanese meat through Halal certification, and the two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two countries in all areas of livestock.
For his part, the Ambassador of the State of Malaysia, Muhammad Razdan Jamil, expressed his country’s readiness to import chilled and frozen meat, and said that the meeting discussed halal certification in slaughtered animals and technical and logistical matters related to the transportation of meat.
