Situation report

The rebel militia at dawn today attempted to attack on some front positions around the general command of the army and, with the Grace of Allah, they were defeated and sustained huge losses including dozens killed and injured and the destruction of a large number of combat vehicles. The remaining militia were forced to flee in a short period of time.

The rebel militia continues to target residential districts with indiscriminate shelling, launching strikes on Banat, Al-Abbasiya and Al-mawrada and areas around it, leading to the wounding of forty civilians.

We continue to closely monitor the movements and intentions of the enemy and our forces are fully prepared to crush the enemy with the will of Allah.

Our prayers for heaven to our glorious martyrs and speedy recovery to those wounded.
