Al-Burhan Leads Sudan Delegation to UN General Assembly

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Lt Gen Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan left today to New York, leading Sudan’s delegation to the 78th UN General Assembly meetings.
He was seen off at Port Sudan airport by his deputy Malik Agar the Secretary General of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Lt Gen Mohamed Al-Gaili and number of ministers.
Al-Burhan will deliver Sudan’s speech before the UN General Assembly on Friday 22 September, besides his participation in high level meetings to boost regional and international relations.
On the sidelines of the Assembly meetings, Al-Burhan will also meet presidents of several countries and representatives of international organizations to discuss means of boosting bilateral relations under the umbrella of the UN aiming at more stable future.
Within a whole week about 150 Presidents and heads of governments from all over the globe will address this UN annual meeting.
