Head of the TSC Meets UNSG

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan concluded his visit to New York in which Sudan participated in the UN General Assembly session by visiting the United Nations Secretary General.
During the meeting Al-Burhan expressed appreciation to the UNSG role and his personal concern on Sudan’s incidents, hailing the role of the UN humanitarian role within the ongoing conditions facing the Sudanese people as a result of the RSF militia atrocities, affirming the readiness of the Sudanese government to cooperate with the UN in all what easies the sufferings of the people.
For his part, the UNSG expressed his positive feelings towards Sudan and its people, pointing out that the international organization will intensify its efforts to ease the humanitarian sufferings and contribution in ongoing settlement attempts to the Sudanese crisis to preserve Sudan’s entity and institutions.
