Al-Burhan Meets Iranian President

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Lt Gen Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan had met today in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, with the President of Iran, Ibrahim Raeesi.
The meeting discussed the means of boosting the bilateral relations between the two countries in all aspects.
Al-Burhan briefed the Iranian President on the developments in Sudan and the atrocities of the RSF militia and its targeting the civilians and destroying the main infrastructure of the state, besides the efforts exerted to achieve peace and stability in Sudan.
Al-Burhan expressed the aspiration of Sudan to push forward the bilateral relations between the two countries.
For his part, the Iranian President affirmed the desire of his country to strengthen the relations between Sudan and Iran, welcoming the resumption of the diplomatic relations between the two countries, pointing out to the importance of Sudan in the region.
