Al-Burhan, President of Djibouti Discuss Boosting Bilateral Cooperation

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, 1st. Lt. Gen Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan and the President of Djibouti – who is now chairing the IGAD – , held official talks in the Republican Palace in Djibouti.
The two leaders discussed means of boosting the bilateral relations and the developments in Sudan following the rebellion of the RSF militia against the State, besides the issues of joint interest.
Al-Burhan exprssed hope that the upcoming IGAD summit manages to find solution to the Sudanese crisis within the chairmanship of Djibouti.
He lauded the role of Saudi Arabia for its hosting Jeddah Forum which provided solutions, adding that they support stopping of war and the return of life to normality in Sudan.
For his part the President of Djibouti welcomed Al-Burhan and the accompanied delegation, hailing the bilateral relations between the two countries, affirming his kenness Towards Sudan’s sovereignty and stability.
He affirmed the readiness of his country to provide any assistance or solutions through its chairmanship of IGAD, besides supporting all initiatives, lauding the role of Saudi Arabia, USA, AU and IGAD in solving the Sudanese crisis.
