The UN announced that the two parties to Sudan’s conflict agreed to meet, most probably in Switzerland, to discuss the acess of humanitarian assistance.
For his part, the Under- Secretary- General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator,, Martin Griffiths stated that, during the two past weeks, he contacted the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Arned Forces, Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Commander of the Rapid Forces, Mohammed Hamdan Davo Himidti, urging them to adhere to their commitment towards the access of the humanitarian assistance.
